| Again Carnival Video Party!!!
 As a tradition, on December 18th AUA Student Council organized
Carnival Party for APP and Degree Program students. There
were also many guests and AUA Administration members. As
it was expected, the party took place in a very warm and
delightful environment. The excellent music and colorful
masks made the atmosphere of the party a great holiday. The
best masks and fancy dresses were awarded special prizes.

31, 2003 |
 Continuing one of its nice traditions Student
Council/ English club had organized game MAFIA on Friday October
31. The game run in English and took place in AUA Cafeteria
from 16:00 till 18:00. About 15 students from AUA and FUA participated
in this intellectual game. Together we managed to have great
time.

Conference of Student Organizations " Look at the Future" - October
7-13, 2003 |
 Being a member of Armenian National Student
Association (ANSA) the Student Council of American University
of Armenia participated in International Conference of Student
Organizations from European, CIS and Baltic countries, entitled “Look
at the Future”. This Conference took place in Yerevan – Dilijan,
Armenia from October 7 till October 13.
 The members of Student
Council of AUA were actively involved in this Conference.
Moreover, we had our special guests from American University
in Cairo
Ahmed Hamza (Student Union community service Co-ordinator),
Marwan Al Abbady (Student Union Academic Committee Chairman),
Dr. Mohamed Yaqout (Faculty member, Director of Student
Cultural Activities) and guests from American University
of Paris
- Sean Casey (President of Student Government Association)
and
Travis Grossi (Representative of Student Government Association).
This was the first step towards initiation of cooperation
between Student Organizations of International American
Colleges and
Universities.

The United States Department of Agriculture, Tufenkian Hospitality
and the Alumni Association of the American University of Armenia
invited AUA Student Council to participate in a free wine
& cheese tasting.
This was a rare opportunity for lovers of original wine and
natural products.

Seventy six APP students who have taken the Web Design 6-week
course, participated in 24 team projects competition (ICP/AUA)

It
has already become a tradition for all Intensive English Students
and Faculty to meet after last TOEFL exit examination and have a
great party together. This time a great carnival-video party was
organized by the AUA Student Council. The Party brought together
about 150 Intensive English students and AUA full time students.
Guests and students from Yerevan State Medical University and Gyumri
State Pedagogical University joined the Carnival Party. Together
we managed to have a lot of fun. The best masks and fancy dresses
were awarded special prizes.
