Renewal Policy
Library patrons are responsible for returning or renewing checked
out material on or before the due date. The due date is stamped
on the inside back cover of the borrowed book. Items reserved by
other patrons cannot be renewed.
Reservation Policy
Reservation of materials is done by Circulation Staff.

requester who is then notified by e-mail or phone call. Reservations
are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reserved books
will not be held for longer than one week.
Preservation of Library materials
Preservation of library materials depends, to a large extent, on
library users. Damaged materials are removed from circulation temporarily.
Food and drinks are not permitted in library units in order to
prevent insect infestation.
Overdue fines and replacement charges
The Library sends overdue notices by e-mail or by phone call.
The fine for overdue material is 100 Drams / day / borrowed material.
Replacement charges for lost items are determined
according to the price of the book plus shipping and handling costs.
Payment for overdue and lost items is done at the Circulation Desk.
The library also accepts a new copy of the lost book as replacement
in lieu of payment.
