Media Center

The purpose of the Media Center is to:

1. support the University's curricula by providing appropriate non-print instructional materials to be reviewed in the Media Center as well as to be used by teaching faculty in the classrooms.

2. provide access to materials which are only available in non-print formats.

Collection development and selection of materials are the responsibilities of the Head of A/CD Department. The teaching faculty participates actively in this process by making purchase recommendations.

Equipment

The Media Center offers audio-visual equipment, including audiocassette players, a VCR, and an IBM computer with a multiple CD reader.

Hours of Operation:


Monday - Friday >>> 9:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday >>> 10:00am - 6:00pm

The Media Center collection is designed as a non-circulating collection.

Any individual with a valid AUA ID is welcome to use the Media Center equipment. Patrons are advised to make their requests in person. Time of the facilities' usage depends upon workload. A library assistant is available to instruct patrons on proper techniques and usage of the equipment.
